Digital Art Curator (Freelance)

We are seeking a freelance Digital Art Curator to play an integral role in shaping one of the most significant aspects and "wow" factors of our newly transformed Music Hall.

As we transform and relaunch Aberdeen's Music Hall as part of a multi-million pound redevelopment, the role of Digital Art Curator is integral to the creation of our Stepping In space, creating a permanent, evolving digital arts space.

During this year-long project you will advise on a commissioning strategy, be responsible for curating the space and for sourcing and commissioning work from local, national and international artists.

As an expert in digital art, you will have experience of curating, commissioning and contracting digital artists and be knowledgeable in the hardware and software involved in screen-based content, digital projection and audio.

Applications should include a cover letter outlining your interest, experience and ideas for the space.
